   Ultra Motion has introduced the Easy-DC Linear Actuator Controller. This unit provides a simple and rugged solution for DC linear actuator control. The controller can supply continuous motor current up to 20 amps with an operating voltage range of 7-42V DC (5.5-50V DC extended range). The operating temperature range is -40C to 125C, and the controller is sealed to IP65. The default device configuration provides extend/retract inputs, limit switch inputs, optional speed control, and output for a power-on or power-off brake. The controller is protected from reverse polarity power input (up to -55V) and its signal and power lines are protected from over-voltage. Our shock-resistant solid-state control board is securely mounted within a precision-machined and mil-spec-anodized aluminum housing. This compact linear actuator controller is perfect for demanding applications in fields including aerospace, medical equipment, industrial automation, and scientific research. The Easy-DC Linear Actuator Controller complies with MIL-SPEC 704B for 28V aircraft power systems. Custom versions are available for meeting additional vibration, EMI, and environmental standards.    Ultra Motion LLC is now manufacturing a smaller version of the Bug linear actuator. These "Series A" units can be configured for forces up to 500 pounds or for speeds up to 20 inches per second. They are being used in applications where minimizing weight and size are important but having the power and speed of an electric actuator is still desirable. These include satellites, unmanned vehicles, robotics and power assisted prosthetic devices. The Series A base area is nearly 50 percent smaller than the Bug (Series B) models but the stroke length can still be up to 16 inches.   Ultra Motion has developed a larger version of its popular Bug parallel mount linear actuator. The Series C Linear Actuator is designed around the NEMA 23 motor frame.
